Welcome to Pier 7 Restaurant + Bar. These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the rules for using our websites and for booking, ordering or purchasing through them. Throughout, "the Restaurant", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Pier 7 Restaurant + Bar at 25 Wallace Mews Road in North Vancouver; "you" refers to anyone who uses our sites.
These Terms apply to pierseven.ca and to our gift card site at giftcards.pierseven.ca.
By browsing our sites, making a reservation, buying a gift card or contacting us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites. If you are using them on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
Menus change, hours change, and so do these sites. We may update, add to or remove parts of them, and we may revise these Terms at any time. The version posted here, with the date above, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Table reservations are processed by our booking provider, OpenTable, and are also governed by any terms shown to you at the time of booking. Availability is displayed in good faith but is not guaranteed until your reservation is confirmed, and it may change without notice.
You agree to give accurate, current and complete information when you book, and to be responsible for activity carried out under your reservation. Please let us know if your plans change: repeated no-shows may affect our ability to hold future bookings for you.
Gift cards bought through our gift card site are governed by these Terms and by the Gift Card Terms · Terms of Use · Privacy, which set out how value, bonuses, delivery, expiry and refunds work. Where the two differ on a gift card matter, the Gift Card Terms apply. Payments are processed by Stripe, and cards are issued and balances maintained by Ackroo.
Menus, prices and promotional offers shown online are provided in good faith and may change without notice. In the rare event of an obvious pricing or typographical error, we reserve the right to correct it and to decline or cancel an affected order or purchase, refunding anything you have paid.
Please use our sites only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with anyone else's use of them. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, disrupt the sites, scrape or harvest content or data, or use the sites to transmit anything harmful, misleading or unlawful. You also agree not to make reservations in bad faith, including bookings you do not intend to honour or made under a false name.
We work to keep descriptions, photography, menus, prices and other details accurate and current, but we do not warrant that everything is complete, error-free or always up to date. Photographs are representative, and actual dishes, spaces and offerings may differ. Menu descriptions cannot list every ingredient: if you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please speak to us directly before ordering rather than relying on the website. The sites and their content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Restaurant and its owners, operators and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our sites, including errors in content, interruptions of service, or issues arising from third-party services linked or used through them. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
All content on these sites, including text, photography, graphics, logos, the Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar name and marks, and the overall design, is owned by or licensed to the Restaurant and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, distribute or use our content or marks for any other purpose without our prior written permission.
Our sites link to websites we do not operate, such as OpenTable and our payment providers. We provide these links for convenience only; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Restaurant and its owners, operators and staff from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the sites or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree that the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these sites or these Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture or employment relationship between you and the Restaurant. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, the Gift Card Terms and any reservation terms shown at booking, make up the entire agreement between you and the Restaurant regarding your use of these sites. We may suspend or end your access at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms.
